Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sundial mobile application (“the app”), published by TimeGround (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Sundial on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Your content

Everything you write in Sundial (“your content”) belongs to you. Your content is stored locally on your device; we do not access, host, or receive it. You are solely responsible for your content and for keeping your own backups. We are not responsible for any loss of content, including loss caused by device failure, uninstalling the app, or not keeping a backup.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to reverse engineer it other than as permitted by law, interfering with its normal operation, or using it in violation of any applicable law. The app is intended as a personal journaling tool and is not a medical, legal, or professional service.

4. Intellectual property

The app, including its name, logo, design, and code, is owned by TimeGround and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

5. Updates and availability

We may release updates, change, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the app will be available without interruption or free of errors.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeGround shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or content, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India, for any disputes arising from them.
